Basic GSM Services

SMS

This service enables you to send and receive short messages (160 characters) with your cellular phone. To use this service you should have GSM cellular phone that supports sending and receiving short messages service. Messages are sent and received directly without an operator. Short messages saved on SIM card can also be sent.

Voice Mail

No more missed incoming calls. With voice mail you are always reachable, even if you are out of network coverage, if you talk, if your phone is disconnected or if you do not want to receive calls. If in any of these cases somebody calls you, the call will be automatically forwarded to your voice mail that acts as your answering machine and receives the message for you.

You just need GSM cellular phone that have a tool to connect and administrate voice mail. MobiMak’s switch takes over all other functions. Every call initiators after short announcement and the tone can leave short voice mail. After receiving a message voice mail subscriber will be notified for the new message with short message service. You decide whether and when you will listen the message. You can listen you messages by dialing the voice mail number.

Dialing can be from any phone number, since the access to the voice mail is protected with password, known just to you (the subscriber) and you can change it whenever you want. When listening messages subscriber can back up to an earlier message, repeat part of a message, skip to the next messages, stop listening messages or play messages again. Messages can be deleted or recorded. Along with the message the system announces the date and time the message was received. Voice instructions will help you when listening voice mail. You can select the language for voice announcement. If you access the voice mail for the first time, there is a special introduction user manual.

Advice of Charge

This additional service provides all necessary information to evaluate tariff of each call. You as a subscriber can be always advised on call charges, depending on the type of call and additional services used. That will enable you to use your cellular phone more efficiently and have better control over subscriber costs. Advice of charge displays on your cellular phone after each established voice connection and additional services. This is quality that provides better security and accuracy in communication.

Fax Message and Data Transmission

This service enables you to transmit fax messages. Transmission is assinchrone with maximum speed of 9600 b/s. For this service you need: Cellular phone that supports this service, PCMCIA card (with appropriate software) compatible for your cellular phone and lap-top with PCMCIA connector. Or you can use this service directly from the cellular phones that have build-in modems, so called communicators. Additional equipment is not necessary for these cellular phones.

Roaming

Opportunities for using international roaming, first of all, depend on the existence of GSM cellular telephone network in a country. Almost all European countries and majority of the countries on other continents America, Asia, Africa and Australia have GSM Cellular telephone networks that are compatible and allow international roaming. GSM is becoming more and more popular and expands worldwide, which enables the subscribers unlimited use of their phones and SIM cards wherever they are. Possibility for using international roaming depends on a bilateral agreement between MobiMak and GSM cellular telephone operator in a country. From the moment of making new roaming contract and the subscriber opportunity to use the service in the network of the roaming partner certain testing period should pass, this is prescribed by the international GSM standards.

Call forwarding

If you already had a conversation, or your telephone is disconnected or for some reason you can not receive calls for your mobile telephone, you can forward the call to any number of the fixed or mobile network which is entered in your mobile telephone.

Call hold

If somebody calls you while you are already having a conversation, you will receive an audible signal that is especially useful when you expect some important call.

Call waiting

This function allows you to keep the already established call and to answer the second call.

Conference call

This service provides you simultaneous conversation with up to 5 other subscribers.

Barring of incoming and outgoing calls

You can activate or deactivate the service from the mobile station with a possibility of barring all international incoming or outgoing call or barring of all incoming or outgoing call.

Calling line ID presentation

Sometime it is good to know who is calling before you answer. With MobiMak that is simple. On the telephone display, the number of the calling party is shown. If you have already entered that number in the memory, the name of that person will appear.
